Ellen Castillo, Miss Clovis 2005
When she was crowned Miss Clovis 2005 Ellen was a junior at California State University Fresno where she was majoring in English Credential. She is a member of the Apha XI Delta Sorority and is a part of the Smittcamp Honors Program and is also on the Deans List. Ellen graduated from Clovis High School where she was salutatorian, an AP Scholar of Distinction and a CSF Lifetime Member. Ellen is already in the process of writing her first children's book. She plans on graduating with her credential so that she can begin teaching immediately. Ellen's platform is "Improving Literacy and Promoting Reading in the Younger Generation." |
